About Me

Many stages of my life have brought me to this point—being obsessed with living well.

Just before we continue, this does not mean living on carrot sticks, counting calories, following fad diets, or being fanatically boring. I think you’ve got my point.

At 17 years of age, I met my boyfriend, now my husband. He opened my eyes and said that my bowel movements were not too good. Embarrassing but true!

Through tests and investigation years later, I discovered gut health and my high intolerance to gluten. 

Unfortunately, I was unable to be tested for coeliac disease as I could not eat gluten for more than three days without losing 3 kg of weight—true story.

Instead, I was tested by the allergy department at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney to confirm I was not going insane. Yep! No gluten for me! 

At 26, I became obsessed with gluten-free cooking as there were literally no gluten-free products except brick-hard, high-sugar bread and fall-apart pasta. There was no education available.

For the past 25 years, I’ve cooked gluten-free! My middle son developed the same gut/allergy reaction, and then I had to learn how to cook gluten-free for a young child who just wanted to eat chicken nuggets and burgers, plus go to parties and be “normal.”

I educated myself on the clean ingredients to create, how to incorporate flavour, and how to serve a meal that everyone enjoyed in half an hour as a busy working mum with three kids under 5!


At 27, I created my first catering company that catered for gluten-free clients (the first of its kind). Built and sold. Then, an Organic Fruit/Veg company. Built and sold. Then came Madame Foodie – game changer!

For 12 years, I created an award-winning, successful platform to help 1000’s of gluten-free clients enjoy pre-prepared meals all over Sydney. It has been a dream come true to impact so many lives.

Ranging from kids newly diagnosed, through to adults 80 years old who just discovered their condition … both have the same question:


This is my true purpose in life—creating easy gluten-free recipes to enjoy! My success in this journey is a testament to the possibilities in the world of healthy cooking. I hope it inspires you as much as it has inspired me.  

Health doesn’t stop here for me. My long journey of repairing my gut also led to understanding wellness. That’s a whole new level—bringing awareness of sugar, unhealthy fats, packaged food, preservatives—it goes on! 

Then, the emotional and physical aspects of health—meditating, strength training, moving, mindfulness—all impact you! 

I want to help you create ease and enjoyment around health. 


I am honest, holistic and real! Yes, I love thick hot chips, red wine and French cheese. Being Italian, I’m also a sucker for my comfort food of gluten-free pasta, a big knob of butter and fresh parmesan, but gluten-free doesn’t have to mean fun or flavour-free.

I’m thrilled to have you here in my community, where we will learn together with humour and connection.
