Prep Time 5 minutes mins
Cook Time 10 minutes mins
Serves 4
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup coconut cream
- 2 cloves garlic, diced
- 1 tsp Chinese 5 spice powder
- 2 tbsp tamari
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
To serve:
- chilli sauce
- lemon juice
- peanuts
Place a large frypan on the stove/medium heat. Add garlic, chinese 5 spice and the peanut butter. Stir as the peanut butter starts to melt.
Slowly add coconut cream and tamari. Turn down the heat to avoid burning the sauce. Once combined add the lime juice and maple syrup.
You can choose the thickness of the sauce by adding more peanut butter or more coconut cream.
Serve over chicken skewers, tofu, or beef strips - always add extra nuts on top, a squeeze of lemon and a hint of chilli!
