Gluten Free Italian Sausage Ragu with Spaghetti

The ultimate dish to cook a hungry family

Serves 4

Ingredients
 

  • 500 grams ITALIAN SAUSAGES: , Or pork or whatever you have in the fridge
  • 500 grams GLUTEN FREE SPAGHETTI: , Or any gluten free pasta
  • 3 cloves GARLIC: , Diced
  • 1 ONION: , Diced
  • 1 litre PASSATA:
  • 1 glass RED WINE: , Not necessary but very complimentary to the sauce
  • 4 tbsp OREGANO OR ROSEMARY: , Dried or fresh

Instructions
 

  • Bring a large pot of water to boil. Cook your pasta until al dente
  • Meanwhile, heat a large frypan or saucepan with a dash of olive oil. Fry the onion, sausages and garlic until the sausages are slightly brown
  • Then add the passata and dried herbs, along with the red wine. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to the boil, then simmer.
  • Cook for a minimum of 20 minutes to allow the flavours to develop into an italian heavenly sauce!
  • Drain the pasta and add to your sauce. Toss through and season. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese
