Gluten Free Sausage Rolls

Raquel Bosustow
These are the easiest, delicious sausage rolls you will love! Made with just three ingredients, they are ready in a flash and a super crowd-pleaser.
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 20 minutes
Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1 packet Gluten-Free Puff Pastry, Usually 4 sheets in each pack
  • 4 thin Beef Sausages, best quality you can find
  • 1 large egg, I use free-range
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds, optional, for sprinkling on top

Instructions

  • Let's get cooking! Line a baking tray with baking paper. Preheat oven 180c.
  • Place defrosted pastry on the bench and one raw sausage at the top of the pastry. Roll the sausage with the pastry. Cut in half. Score the pastry in small lines or just leave as is.
  • Beat the egg yolk. Brush on top of the pastry and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • Bake for 10 minutes on oneside (until brown) then turn them over to brown the other side (you can add a brush of egg yolk if you have any left)
  • To serve - with tomato sauce!

Notes

If you want your sausage rolls to look extra fancy, try using black sesame seeds instead!
