FREE RANGE CHICKEN MINCE: You can choose breast or thigh for this recipe
TAMARI: The GF option to soy sauce and taste better, lighter and not as dominate
SHALLOTS: A perfect alternative to onion for this dish and no crying!
CHINESE 5 SPICE: Another fab spice that will become your best friend in the spice department. It makes every dish taste authentic
SESAME OIL AND BLACK SESAME SEEDS: Definitely worth the purchase from your local Asian Grocer as will come in handy for all of your Asian Dishes!
TO SERVE: CORIANDER AND CHILLI (OPTIONAL)
Instructions
Let’s get cooking! Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Line an oven tray with baking paper. (I do this all the time to save extra washing up!)
In a bowl, add the chicken mince, five spice, shallots, tamari and sesame oil. At this point you can add grated zucchini and carrot if you would like extra veg.
Roll up the mixture into golf size balls. Place on oven tray. Drizzle with sesame oil and sprinkle over black sesame seeds
Bake for 20 mins
Once cooked, place in a bowl and sprinkle fresh coriander and diced chilli
